Bangkok,
Thailand:
Station design; in plant integration, and field installation and test of an
Intelsat Standard “B” satellite earth station.
This project included a three-month field assignment in Thailand, where
personnel now with Intellicom Communications were responsible for field
acceptance test, and satellite system tests via Intelsat (including IBS/IDR
Transmit/Receive SSOG testing).
Lagos,
Nigeria:
Intellicom
Communications has successfully completed a contract for the design,
integration, and test of a 9.3 Meter Antenna satellite system for TV
transmission and reception via Eutelsat and Intelsat satellites.
The customer (DAAR) is the largest broadcaster in Nigeria, broadcasting
more than twenty channels nationwide.
Telecomm
Mexico, Mexico:
Redundant
Broadcast Trucks using MPEG-2 with 4:2:2 Studio Profile standard. Project consisted of engineering design, integration,
installation and certification of a 2.4M antenna on a Ford 550 with a large
enclosure which housed a complete broadcast uplink center.
Warsaw,
Poland:
Design,
manufacture, implement, install and test Direct-to-Home (DTH) system for Polish
audience viewing. First national
satellite based network to be installed in Poland under television operator,
Telewizja, Polsat. Network
broadcast more than thirty channels nationwide.
Sao
Paulo, Brazil:
Supported
station design, installation, implementation and training for a wireless two-way
point-to-point system in Brazil. These
systems were designed to carry Frame Relay voice, data, and video services for
various remote operations back to corporate headquarters. Networks included Fiat, Antarctica, IBM and Nestles.
Startec
Telephony Center Delhi, India: Design, implement and install a Telephony teleport in India to carry
voice traffic for a long distance carrier.
Complete network was successfully deployed in four months.
Telecom
Mexico Teleport Upgrade:
Completed restoration of a teleport in Hermosillo, Mexico.
Full restoration and certification of existing teleport with new RF and
digital equipment installed and type approval test sign-off.
Caliente,
Mexico Upgrade:
As the results of an international tender, we were selected to upgrade the
Standard “B” station in Mexico with 3 KW C-Band Klystrons, Automatic Level
Control Units and monitoring capability. The
project was successfully completed; testing over achieved each standard and was
shipped on schedule.
Beijing,
China:
Design,
implement and fabricate redundant Ku-Band Transportable Satellite Earth Station
for Chinese Television Broadcaster. System
used to backhaul national events to station for rebroadcast to a city of 50
million.
Elektrindo
Nusantara Nationwide Backbone Network:
Design and developed equipment standard for
Indonesian nationwide telephony backbone network. Perform test and integration of multiple DCME terminals,
establish voice compression efficiency, and perform regional studies of voice
traffic, structured equipment to meet traffic peaks, supported Monitor and
Control functionality, installed and tested final system.
Peoples
Television Philippines:
Designed large transportable trailer earth station for broadcast of
nationwide media events such as elections, system was fully automatic and could
be towed to each site. System
included MPEG-2 video encoder, modulation IF equipment and a RF generation
terminal. The system operated under
its own generated power which was housed within the trailer.
PT
Telkom, Indonesia Oil Platform System:
Designed and provided terminals to oil platforms in the Java and Flores
Seas off the coast of Indonesia. Systems
included voce and data equipment required for survey and communications.
Terminals operated on a 3-Axis platform to handle twenty-degree pitch and
roll requirements.
