Domestic Experience

Hughes Network Systems:  Intellicom Communications has collectively installed well over 20,000 VSAT installations. These range in size from .75 meter to 3.8 meter. 95% of these installations are two-way, KU-Band systems. We have also designed and installed large aperture antennae for HNS for their shared hub installations.

State of California, Office of Emergency Services: We joint ventured a TES (Telephony Earth Station) DAMA system used for exclusive disaster recovery communications, both voice and data to all counties in the state. The system also employ’s two (2) Hub’s and 12 transportable trailer systems. Wireless technology was also deployed in remote locations for fire sites, emergency response activation of transportable vehicles.

Tachyon, Inc:  Services include design, implementation, and installation of HUB as well as remote locations. Providing high-speed Internet connectivity to remote locations. Some installations then employed last mile technology to deliver the signals to wireless remote terminals.

GTE: Installation of VSAT systems throughout the California, Nevada and Oregon areas. Antenna sizes ranged from 1.0 meter to 3.7 meter.

AT&T Wireless: Installation of cellular CDPD data communication systems in California and Utah. Upgrading the existing cellular infrastructure as well as adding new CDPD capabilities in cell sites.

Boeing Digital Cinema: Designed, Implemented and Installed Broadcast Hub for digital distribution to movie theatres across the United States.  Included installing systems at theatres for reception.

Nortel Trade Show Vehicle: Installed Satellite system on an Eighteen-wheeler for Internet communications to and from corporate Headquarters.  System included a VPN for secure operations to Nortel’s Intranet.
